A 63-year-old man was found dead at the base of Marina Bay Sands (MBS) hotel on the evening of March 11. Authorities believe he fell from the hotel.

Responding to queries from Mothership, an MBS spokesperson confirmed that the man’s body was discovered outside the hotel around 7:50 pm on March 11, 2024. The Singapore Police Force (SPF) reported that they were alerted to an incident of unnatural death near Bayfront Avenue at about 7:55 pm, according to 8World News. Police officers arriving at the scene found the man unresponsive and pronounced him dead shortly after.

Following initial investigations, the police do not suspect any foul play. The MBS spokesperson stated that they are cooperating with the authorities in the ongoing investigation.

8World News reported that several officers set up a blue tent and barriers near the Tower 3 exit on the first floor. At 9:45 pm, a Facebook user advised people to avoid the MBS area, posting in the “Professional PHV Drivers Singapore: Grab, Gojek, Tada, and Ryde” group.
