A 30-year-old entrepreneur has tragically passed away in his sleep. On Friday (Nov 25), cryptocurrency firm Amber Group announced that its co-founder, Tiantian Kullander, died unexpectedly on Nov 23. The cause of his sudden death was not disclosed.

In a heartfelt tribute, Kullander was described as a “respected thought leader” and pioneer in the fintech industry. Known for his generosity and humility, he played a pivotal role in founding the company and was considered a cornerstone of its success.

Affectionately called “TT,” Kullander helped grow Amber Group into a multi-billion-dollar fintech unicorn. He also held a seat on the Board of Fnatic, one of the world’s top e-sports organisations, and co-founded the on-chain liquidity underwriter KeeperDAO, now rebranded as Rook.

In 2019, he was named to Forbes’ prestigious 30 Under 30 list.

The company expressed its commitment to continuing Kullander’s legacy, stating, “TT’s legacy will live on, and we will work even harder to make Amber the category-defining leader of our industry, as this was TT’s ambition and dream.”

Kullander, remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend, is survived by his wife and son.
