“Singaporean actress Chantalle Ng is preparing to turn 30 this coming June and says she is now ready to embrace a new chapter centred on self-love, balance, and quality time with her mother, veteran actress Lin Meijiao.
Reflecting on her twenties during a recent interview with AsiaOne, the 29-year-old admitted that the last decade was filled with personal growth and relentless effort, balancing studies and career in the entertainment industry.
Chantalle shared that her early adulthood was marked by challenges common to many young people — navigating higher education, adapting to working life, and learning how to manage responsibilities as an adult.
Speaking while promoting her upcoming television drama Emerald Hill – The Little Nyonya Story, Chantalle recalled the demanding years spent building her career: “”I think my twenties were a phase when I really pushed myself. When I look back, I sometimes can’t believe how much I’ve managed to achieve. I was handling university studies alongside acting commitments, and eventually became a full-time artist with Mediacorp.””
Now, as she approaches a new milestone, Chantalle expressed her desire to slow down, shift focus to personal well-being, and spend more meaningful time with her mother. She hopes her thirties will allow her to enjoy life differently — with more self-compassion and closer family ties.”
