Explaining the logic behind this advice, Ms Midi says that whenever she travels, even to “the most unusual hotels in unusual places,” if there’s a positive review from a Singaporean, it has “never let her down.” Conversely, she recommends avoiding any hotel with a rating above 4.5 stars if there’s even one negative review from a Singaporean.
Ms Midi’s video quickly went viral, garnering over 113,000 views, with many commenters agreeing. Several confirmed that they use the same approach when searching for accommodations in places like Korea and Japan. Some even suggested this tip works well for restaurant reviews too, noting Singapore’s reputation for excellent and affordable food.
