The police are currently investigating a fight that erupted in Yishun during the early hours of Sunday (July 2). A Stomp contributor shared a video of the incident, which took place at the open-air carpark of Block 133 Yishun Street 11 around 5:10 AM.

The footage shows a physical altercation primarily involving two men, although a woman appears to be at the center of the conflict. Three other men were also present at the scene. In the video, one of the men, who is topless, can be heard shouting vulgarities as he exchanges blows with the other man, while the woman screams and addresses someone as “sayang” multiple times.

Residents in the vicinity expressed their displeasure at the disturbance, but the topless man retaliated by shouting, “Your mother lah dey!” and “Come, I show you my c***.” He followed up with, “Same father, same mother, family problem,” along with a Hokkien vulgarity. The other man also lashed out at residents, repeatedly shouting, “F*** your mother lah!” and instructing them to “Go!” before slapping the woman.

According to E, the contributor who recorded the video, the altercation was said to be related to family issues. “This went on for around 20 minutes. Neighbours warned them that they would call the police if they continued fighting, and then they left,” he noted.

In response to inquiries from Stomp, the police confirmed that a report had been lodged, and investigations are ongoing.
