“Singapore’s coffee shop chain operator Kimly has acquired a coffee shop at Block 204 Serangoon Central for S$13.15 million, according to reports on March 11, 2025.

The property, spanning 358 square metres, consists of the coffee shop on the ground floor and a three-room flat on the second level. The lease, which began in October 1994, has 60 years remaining.

Kimly’s interest in purchasing the venue, previously owned by Lee Quan Enterprises, was first reported in June 2024. The company stated that the acquisition aligns with its goal of expanding its food retail division by adding more food stalls, supported by its central kitchen operations.

Kimly also noted its commitment to seeking out well-located coffee shops in high-footfall areas, particularly in mature residential estates.

Founded in 1990, Kimly Group currently operates 85 outlets, including coffee shops, food courts, and industrial canteens.”
