SINGAPORE — A 46-year-old man tragically fell from the 18th floor of Neptune Court condominium in East Coast on Monday (Jan 29) around 4:50 p.m., landing on a tree below, according to Shin Min Daily News. Residents of the condominium reported hearing a loud noise, and one witness described noticing “a foot sticking out” from a tree branch where the man’s body was caught.

Witnesses shared that a woman, believed to be the man’s wife, rushed to the tree in distress, attempting to help him but was unable to do so. The woman, who sustained visible injuries herself, was later taken to Changi General Hospital. Police identified her as the deceased’s 55-year-old wife.

Preliminary investigations suggest no foul play, and police inquiries are ongoing.
