Planning to head to Changi Village for a late-night supper or work in the Loyang Industrial District? Expect some major changes to your usual drive, as a portion of Loyang Avenue is now closed to facilitate construction for the Cross Island Line’s Loyang Station and Viaduct.

The closed section stretches from Pasir Ris Drive 3, near the Shell petrol station, to Loyang Way and will remain off-limits until the second quarter of 2029.

Additionally, another section of Pasir Ris Drive 1 is set to close from the third quarter of 2023 to the fourth quarter of 2028 for the construction of the Cross Island Line’s Pasir Ris Station.

Motorists are advised to follow alternative routes provided by the Land Transport Authority (LTA). These infrastructure upgrades aim to enhance connectivity in the Changi region, making it an even better place to live, work, and play.

Loyang has also recently benefitted from a new viaduct, providing direct access from the Tampines Expressway to the Pan Island Expressway and Upper Changi Road, bypassing the existing signalised junction.
