Do you love that cool, air-conditioned weather feel in Singapore? It made a comeback on the afternoon of Tuesday, Feb. 28, following several warmer days. Photos and videos taken around 6:40pm captured the iconic Marina Bay Sands towers shrouded in fog and low-lying clouds, giving the Central Business District (CBD) a cool, misty vibe reminiscent of Genting Highlands.
Foggy conditions like these usually occur after a downpour when temperatures drop significantly. In this case, Singapore experienced continuous rainfall since noon, causing the cool conditions.
The forecast suggests more of the same, with the weatherman predicting temperatures as low as 23°C and afternoon showers over the next few days.
While fog isn’t a frequent occurrence in Singapore, it occasionally graces the island, the last instance being on Jan. 24.
