From thrilling crime K-dramas to exclusive K-pop documentaries, fans of Korean entertainment have much to look forward to on Disney+. Disney announced an exciting lineup of shows today (Nov 30) during their Disney Content Showcase at Marina Bay Sands.
Here are some new titles announced at the event:
Call It Love
Director Lee Kwang-young and actors Kim Young-kwang and Lee Sung-kyung revealed their new K-drama Call It Love, which will launch on Disney+ next year. The story follows Woo-joo, whose life spirals after discovering her father’s infidelity. After her father’s sudden death, Woo-joo’s revenge plan against her father’s mistress is complicated by unexpected love.
Moving
Based on Kang Full’s popular webtoon, Moving stars Ryu Seung-ryong, Han Hyo-joo, and Jo In-sung. The story revolves around three teenagers who inherit superpowers from their secret agent parents.
The Worst of Evil
Set in the 1990s, this crime drama follows undercover officer Park Joon-mo (Ji Chang-wook) as he infiltrates a dangerous criminal organization fueling a drug trafficking triangle.
Shadow Detective Season 2
Lee Sung-min, Gyeong Su-jin, and Lee Hak-joo return in this sequel, where Detective Taek-rok faces higher stakes as he attempts to solve his final case.
Race
Written by Kim Roo-ri and starring Lee Yeon-hee and Moon So-ri, Race tells the story of a mediocre employee who unlocks her potential after being hired for diversity reasons at a top-tier publicity company.
Soundtrack #2
This romantic drama follows former college bandmates Hyun-seo and Su-ho, who reconnect four years after their breakup to see if their love can be rekindled.
The Zone 2: Survival Mission
