Before rising to global stardom, Chinese actress Esther Yu graduated from Lasalle College of the Arts with a degree in Fashion Media and Industries. The 28-year-old actress recently returned to Singapore and shared photos on Instagram yesterday (Feb. 7), captioning her post, “Hello SG.”
The photos, seemingly taken from a hotel room at Marina Bay Sands, show Esther enjoying the city skyline. Fans welcomed her warmly in the comments, with one writing, “Welcome to Singapore Xinxin! Enjoy, and lots of love,” using her nickname derived from her Chinese name, Shuxin.
Best known for roles in popular dramas like Find Yourself (2020), Love Between Fairy and Devil (2022), and My Journey to You (2023), Esther was spotted at Shanghai airport on her way to Singapore and later by fans at Changi Airport. Media speculations suggest she may be here for Chinese New Year, as her family is reportedly based in Singapore.
