SINGAPORE — Naomi Neo, one of Singapore’s top digital personalities, isn’t just an influencer. She’s also a mother of two and a new entrepreneur, now balancing these roles while launching her wellness brand, Empath. The brand, inspired by Neo’s own experiences, provides body, skin, and hair care products, addressing the issues she faced after pregnancy, like weight and hair loss.
Neo’s journey into content creation began at age 11 when she started blogging as an outlet to share her thoughts. This paved the way to social media, where she built a career as a content creator while studying at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Over 16 years, she’s navigated the highs and challenges of the digital space, learning to approach sensitive topics cautiously.
Her latest venture, Empath, reflects her philosophy of sharing relatable experiences with her audience. Despite facing skepticism about influencers launching wellness products, Neo partnered with experts to ensure her products are both safe and effective.
Balancing her business, content creation, and family can be a challenge, often leaving Neo to “split herself into two.” She dedicates mornings to work and spends afternoons with her children, Kyzo and Zyla, acknowledging that some days are harder than others. For Neo, parenting is about guiding her children, even when she feels “mom guilt” for not always being fully present.
